Our Book Publishing Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

NexGen Publishing Hub provides author-assisted digital and print publishing services. Depending on the package purchased, these services may include manuscript editing, interior formatting, cover design, illustrations, audiobook production, marketing campaigns, and distribution setup across global platforms (e.g., Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Apple Books). We deliver services based strictly on the package tier (Essential, Signature, Premier, or Platinum) selected at checkout.

2. Intellectual Property & Royalties

You retain 100% ownership, copyright, and control of your manuscript and intellectual property.

We operate strictly as a service provider. We do not claim any ownership over your work, nor do we take any percentage of your book sales or royalties. During the publishing phase, we set up independent publishing accounts (e.g., Amazon KDP, IngramSpark) entirely in your name and linked to your banking information. All royalties are paid directly to you by those retail platforms.

3. Client Responsibilities & Warranties

By submitting your manuscript and related files to us, you warrant and guarantee that:

You are the sole legal owner and copyright holder of the submitted work.
The work is entirely original and does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
The work does not contain libelous, defamatory, illegal, or heavily plagiarized content. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a project immediately if we discover the submitted work violates these terms or platform publishing guidelines (such as Amazon KDP's content policies).

4. Fees & Payment Terms

All services are provided on a fixed-fee basis according to the package you select.

Upfront Payment: Full payment is required prior to the commencement of any project.
Deferred Payments: If you choose to split your payment using a "Buy Now, Pay Later" provider (such as Klarna or Affirm) at checkout, your financial agreement is strictly with that third-party provider.
All payments are securely processed via third-party gateways (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your credit card information.

5. Project Timelines & Delays

We involve you in the review process at multiple stages of production.

Depending on your purchased package, you are entitled to specified rounds of revisions (e.g., unlimited minor revisions for illustrations).
"Minor revisions" include small text corrections, font adjustments, or minor color tweaks. They do not include complete manuscript rewrites, changing the core design concept after initial approval, or adding additional chapters.
Once final approval is given by you, any subsequent changes may incur an additional fee.

6. Revisions & Approvals

7. Limitation of Liability

While we utilize industry best practices to ensure your book is highly optimized, beautifully designed, and successfully distributed, NexGen Publishing Hub cannot guarantee specific sales figures, bestseller status, or financial success. Book sales are entirely dependent on market demand, reader reception, and ongoing author marketing efforts. We are not liable for any account suspensions or content rejections executed independently by third-party retailers (such as Amazon KDP).

8. Refunds & Cancellations

Because our services require the immediate allocation of expert personnel (editors, designers, project managers), payments are non-refundable once work has commenced. If you choose to cancel a project before any work has begun, you may be eligible for a refund, minus any administrative or payment processing fees.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
